Hogan’s Alley

Hogan’s Alley Clothing is a fusion of African Culture with Western-style, inspired by the prominent Afro-Canadian neighborhood in Vancouver. Founded by African Immigrants, Hogan’s Alley is on a deeply personal missions to bring African culture to Canada.

Hogan’s Alley Clothing approached us (a team of myself, Jon Wat, and Janice Callangan) to help them launch their brand with photography and social media.

We developed a concept around integrating Hogan’s Alley with all of Vancouver - it’s use of African fabric is the mosaic of the people of Vancouver. Utilizing ethnic grocery stores as backdrops - whether it’s an African specialty store, a grocery in Chinatown, Latin, or Indian - we wanted to align the diversity of the brand with the diversity of the community.
